Tag orders that used a specific creator or campaign code, so you can filter orders and pay commissions without spreadsheets.

Trigger: An order is created.

How to build it

Shopify Flow Recommended

Trigger: Order created

Conditions

  • order.discountCodes includes "SARAH15"

Actions

  1. Add order tags: creator-sarah

Use one condition branch per creator, or a single tag built with Liquid: creator-{{order.discountCodes | first | downcase}}.

Get it: Shopify Flow

Make

  1. Shopify > Watch events (advanced), Event topic ORDERS_CREATE
  2. Filter: discount code = SARAH15
  3. Shopify > Update an order (tags)

  1. Shopify Trigger, topic orders/create
  2. IF: discount_codes contains SARAH15
  3. Shopify: Order > Update (tags)

  1. Shopify: New Order
